About me, and my Blog

Hello I'm Dakota Boise the founder of DakotaDIY's. I started doing this blog in August 2016, I was 14 years old in my freshmen year when I started. I have a mom, dad, and two brothers.I live in Missouri, and I lived here my whole life. I started crafting since I was 8 years old ever since my mom started beading, and making blankets, and it look very interesting to me, and that's when I started to do my own crafts. I started out with the basics of crafting, so I decided to start with drawing(I wasn't very good at first), and drawing just became one of my number one hobbies. I drew eyes, hands, nature, etc. it was just an obsession I had. As I got older I started doing advance crafts like with wood, paint, and yarn. That's how I started out, now let me tell you about my blog.

I started this blog to inspire teens like me to help them get their creative side out in the world. But I know some teens can be scared because teenage years are not really that fun sometimes (depending). Anyway I wanted to give tips on how to do crafts, and show some lessons online too. I also wanted help with some ideas of what teens want me to make, and get an idea of what teens really want to do as they start coming on the border of being an artist. Also I will suggest some apps in my blog that can  help you, and give you suggestions on what to do. I will also put some names on my blog to show you some youtubers that loves crafts, and can also inspire you guys with art. I really hope you guys enjoy my blog, and also be an inspiration to someone too. Thank you, and let's get crafting.
